He?joined the faculty of the UIC College of Dentistry?s Department of Pediatric Dentistry in 1973.
Although he technically ?retired? in 2006, this loyal faculty member not only immediately returned, but continues his work as Director of the department?s International Program.
Beginning in his student days and throughout his years on the faculty, Dr. Soh has assisted College and University development personnel by recruiting President?s Council-level donors to the College, and by soliciting contributions of funds and dental products from the corporate community.
It was Dr. Soh who established the department?s Korean International Continuing Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry in 1991, and became the program?s Director.
Dr. Soh also serves as a liaison between the governments of the Republic of Korea and the United States, and between organized dentistry in both countries as well.
UIC will award SOH?during their Reunion event on April 24 in Chicago.
